A New Season for KO… And a Big Announcement

Spring has a funny way of waking everything up again.

The sun sticks around a little longer. The air feels lighter. Flowers start blooming where everything once looked bare.

It’s a season that reminds us that new beginnings are always possible.

And this spring… KO has a big one.

We’ve been hinting for a while that this season of life feels like a time for renewal. For slowing down, leaning into what matters most, and choosing the kind of life we want for our families.

And after a lot of prayer, conversations, research, and excitement…

We’re doing something new next year.

KO is starting a homeschool journey!!

Yep. We’re doing it.

And honestly? We couldn’t be more excited.

Now before anyone imagines a quiet classroom with perfectly behaved kids sitting at desks all day… let’s clear something up.

That’s not what this is going to look like.

While we’ll each be teaching our own kids the academic side of things, the real magic of this new season will be everything that happens outside the “schoolwork.”

Because learning doesn’t just happen at a desk.

It happens in the garden. In the kitchen. On adventures. In real life moments.

So next year, our kids won’t just be learning math and reading.

They’ll be planting gardens and watching things grow. They’ll be learning how to cook real meals. They’ll be practicing life skills that kids actually need to know.

We’ll be exploring new places, taking field trips, and turning everyday experiences into opportunities to learn.

And the best part?

We get to do it together.

Just like everything else in our lives, this homeschool season will be something our families walk through side by side. Our kids will grow, explore, and experience life together — learning lessons that go far beyond a textbook.

Adventures. Curiosity. Life skills. Friendship.

That’s the kind of learning we’re excited about.

And because we know so many of you have been curious about what this next chapter will look like, we decided to bring you along for the journey.

We’re launching a new space where we’ll share the adventures, the projects, the messy moments, the fun, and all the things our kids are learning along the way.
